Privacy Policy

Pairwise (the “Operator”) does not require account registration or real-name information. We process only the information needed to provide game records, rankings, drawing quizzes, sharing, and inquiry features.
1. Information We Process

2. Purposes of Processing
- Validate game records and provide personal records and rankings, including country/region display
- Manage nicknames, share links, and challenge records
- Create drawing quizzes, judge answers, publicly explore opted-in drawings, provide hearts and anonymous response statistics, process reports, and prevent misuse
- Prevent misuse and analyze errors
- Measure natural-search and paid-campaign acquisition and the game-entry and completion funnel
- Provide advertising and operate the service
- Respond to inquiries and handle requests concerning personal information
3. Advertising and Third-Party Advertising Providers
When Kakao AdFit or Google advertising is provided, the relevant provider may process the information listed above to deliver and measure advertising and prevent misuse.
You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center or Kakao Personalized Advertising Settings.
4. Retention and Deletion
- Information stored in your browser remains until you delete the site's data.
- Profile, game-record, and sharing information is retained until a deletion request is processed or the service is discontinued.
- Drawing-quiz drawings, answers, invites, showcase publications, hearts, reports, and one-way identifiers are retained for no more than 30 days after creation and then deleted automatically. A creator may stop showcase visibility or delete them sooner with the management capability stored in that browser.
- Access logs and inquiry information are retained for as long as necessary for operations, security, and handling inquiries, and are then deleted. If retention is required by law, the information may be retained for the required period.
5. Service Providers and International Processing
To operate the service, we may use Railway for hosting and databases, Google for inquiry forms and Analytics, and Kakao and Google for advertising services. Information may be processed outside South Korea as part of these services, subject to each provider's policies.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can delete site data and cookies in your browser settings. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of profile, game-record, and drawing-quiz information stored on the server through the Contact page. For a drawing explicitly submitted through “Showcase,” the drawing, mode, publication time, and heart count are publicly discoverable; the prompt and answer stay hidden until the quiz is solved, and the list of people who hearted it is not public. The creator can stop showcase visibility or delete the quiz from “Recent drawing responses” in the same browser. If you delete browser data, we may not be able to recover an existing profile or drawing-management capability.
7. Children's Personal Information
The service is not designed primarily for children and does not collect dates of birth or ages. A parent or guardian may request access to or deletion of information provided by a child through the Contact page.
8. Changes and Contact
We will update this page if our processing practices change. Requests concerning personal information are accepted by the Pairwise Privacy Contact through the Contact page.
