Terms of Service

These Terms set out the conditions for using the free browser-game, ranking, and participatory-content service provided by Pairwise (the “Operator”).

1. Scope of the Service

The service provides browser games, scores, game-specific and overall rankings, tier information, and drawing quizzes shared with friends or voluntarily posted to Showcase free of charge. Advertising may appear on some screens depending on operating conditions.

2. Anonymous Profiles and Public Information

Without requiring a separate registered account, the service associates a random browser UUID with a nickname, an automatically assigned tag, and a user-selected display country/region. The UUID is neither a login account nor a recovery method, so deleting browser data may make the existing profile unrecoverable. Your nickname and tag, display country/region, score, tier, and rank may appear publicly in rankings. The display country/region is profile information selected by the user; it is not a nationality or place of residence verified by the Operator.

If a drawing creator separately confirms “Showcase,” the drawing, mode, publication time, and heart count are publicly discoverable for up to 30 days. The prompt and answer remain hidden until the quiz is solved, but third parties may share the public link or capture the drawing. The creator can stop showcase visibility or permanently delete the quiz with the management capability stored in the same browser.

3. Rules of Use

• Do not manipulate scores through automated tools or modification of the service.
• Do not impersonate others or use a nickname containing abusive, hateful, or unlawful content.
• Do not place personal information, answer text, sexual, hateful, violent, or unlawful material, or content that infringes another person's rights in a drawing.
• Do not compromise the stability of the service or interfere with another user's use of the service.

Users may report inappropriate drawings. Based on a report or a violation of law or these Terms, the Operator may remove a drawing from Showcase and block or delete its link.

4. Record Validation and Restrictions

Records that are abnormal or fail validation may be excluded from rankings or deleted, and repeated violations of these rules may result in restrictions on use of the service.

5. Changes to the Service and Liability

The Operator may modify features or discontinue the service as necessary for maintenance, security, or operations. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the Operator is not liable for losses caused by communications failures, deletion of browser data, or failures of external services. User rights established by applicable law remain unaffected.
